What We Provide For Your Child
The Surveyors Program provides families with an exciting curriculum in history, geography, language arts, and science. The history study features the chronological study of history based on a four year rotating schedule and corresponding geography. The language arts block will focus on the study of English grammar and composition, with literature selections to complement the time period in history which is being studied. Additionally, students work through the Institutes for Excellence in Writing program to add a repertoire of writing strategies to their writer's toolbox. These students embark on exploring our world in the field of science by using the Apologia Exploring Creation series. All Surveyors will execute a science project for our very own science fair.
Classes will be used to introduce and review material, create projects, share, and learn through hands-on activities. Daily lesson plans will be provided, week by week. Students will be given the opportunity to practice oral presentation skills throughout the year. Given the unique and individual needs of each student, Pathways for Scholars does not offer instruction in Math.
*Classes are subject to change due to registration requirements.*
